yFlicks is a movie player and organizer that not only lets you view and arrange movies in static groups its versatile tags feature lets you categorize your movies any way you want. You can even tag your movie automatically by querying Amazon's online movie database, which gives you the additional benefit of having the corresponding DVD cover art downloaded automatically. And once you've done so, creating smart groups based on your tags and subdividing those smart groups by tag values will let you browse your movie library by Genre, Actor, Director, MPAA Rating, or Year, for instance.

And if you're a Front Row fan, you'll love the fact that usher mode lets you access the full complexity of your yFlicks library via Front Row.

- [new] optional support for including your iTunes movies in your yFlicks library (this is most useful when you're using Usher mode to have your movies displayed in a hierarchical fashion in Front Row)
- [new] downloaded web videos can now be converted and added to your iTunes library automatically
- [new] you can now subdivide smart groups by library folder
- [improved] more export options (no longer limited to MPEG-4)
- [improved] converting/exporting movies no longer blocks yFlicks
- [improved] download names (e.g., "My Cat is Teh Funny (LOLZ!).flv" instead of "yldqNkGfo.flv")
- [improved] downloads are now resumed across application restarts, if the server allows it
- [fixed] downloads from youtube.com, video.google.com, dailymotion.com; also added a generic web media detector that will make yFlicks work with lots of other sites (see the TubiTunes product page for more information on this)
- [fixed] lots of minor bugs and issues
