About X-RIP
A professional large format printer driver that supports printing by both direct connection (USB) and over a network (TCP/IP). The multi-threaded raster image-processing engine provides far superior throughput and lays a solid foundation for future expansion. Other features include support for custom paper sizes. The user can set up and save his own paper sizes and use them whenever they are needed.

X-RIP does not use PostScript so it is possible to save thousands by using a Non-PostScript printer with X-RIP rather than the more expensive PostScript printers. Printer supported include the HP DesignJet series, Encad CadJET and NovaJet series as well as the Encad Croma24 and T-200. Some Océ and Xerox printers are also supported using the Generic Printer setting.
