Taply 1.5 free download

 
Taply is a simple soundfile player. Although a lot of similar tools do exist for Mac OS X, I did not know of any which behaves exactly the way I want it to, so I wrote this application. The main difference between Taply and other players lies in the fact that it consists of nothing more than a tiny floating window and that it will quit after having finished playing. This way, (at least for me) it's the perfect tool to scan quickly through a large number of audio files. Taply is localized in English, German, French, Swedish and Italian.

What's new in this version:

- Improved user interface
- Added a playback progress bar that can be used to navigate in files
- Keyboard shortcut for increasing and decreasing the volume and restarting the track
- Fixed a potential crash on Leopard
- Fixed a drag&drop problem that could result in an invisible Taply process running in the background
- Optionally, the volume setting can be preserved between launches by activating a hidden preference setting (see Readme for details)
- New "Loop" icon, contributed by Ulli Neutzling (see Readme for details)
- Swedish localization of the user interface, contributed by Ulli Neutzling
