About Syntext Serna
A cross-platform XSL-on-the-fly WYSIWYG XML document editor. During the editing process Serna renders XML documents with XSL stylesheets (e.g. a Docbook XSL stylesheet similar to the Norman Walsh one). As a result, authors constantly see rendered content which looks similar to the final presentation. Serna provides on-the-fly XML schema validation; extensive entity support; Docbook, DITA, basic XHTML, NITF out-of-the-box support; XML catalogs support; spell checking.
