SuperExam Features —
1. SuperExam offers two exam modes:
a. The Writer can easily create a new exam or change an old one.
b. As many Examinees as you want can take the exam (unsupervised if you wish) on the same computer.
2. The Writer has the option to require a password to take the exam, or not.
3. Up to 100 questions can be offered in an exam. Questions are presented with a clear, attractive interface with unobtrusive sound effects. (100 sample questions are included, demonstrating testing possibilities.)
4. The Writer can import and manipulate images to enhance questions
5. The Writer can create a timed exam (setting the time) or an untimed exam. On timed exams:
a. The Writer can allow one break during long exams (with no time penalty for the Examinee).
b. The Examinee receives clear information on his or her question-answering pace and a continual update as to how much time is left.
6. In real time, SuperExam can (optionally) inform the Examinee:
a. if he or she got the answer right.
b. what the right answer was immediately after he or she missed it.
c. of a running percentage (changed after each question).
7. The Writer can create a Standard exam or a Weighted Question exam. Weighted question exams create different point values for each question, depending on difficulty.
8. The Writer has full search capabilities (with options) at his or her finger-tips.
9. The Examinee can set a screen backdrop (white or black) to avoid distrac-tion during the exam. Or backdrop can be set to none.
10. The Examinee can answer questions in any of these three different or-ders:
a. Sequential (1, 2, 3, etc.)
b. Random
c. Manual (choosing which number to answer each time)
11. The Examinee may (if finding out the right answer was not an option) go back to troublesome questions and reconsider answers (time permitting on timed exams).
12. The Writer has private access to:
a. complete and printable records of exam results and scores for all examinees on a particular exam (including time spent, preferences chosen, answers chosen, and changed answers, if any).
b. A graph of all examinee’s scores with labeled mean score and 1 standard deviation marked.
13. At the end of the exam, the Examinee will receive full and instantaneous exam results (grade).
14. SuperExam has extensive instructions, help, and error checking to make it virtually impossible to do anything wrong.
15. Interruption protection: An interrupted exam (power failure, etc.) can be recovered and completed later.
