starQuiz is an easy to use software package that makes computerized testing a snap! You can create quizzes with multiple choice, multiple select, true or false, short answer, fill in the blank, matching, numeric, and essay questions. Quizzes can include pictures, movies, web links, time limits, and more. Students can take the quiz in a computer lab using starQuiz NetClient, then see their results as soon as they finish the quiz. Or, upload the quiz to the free quiz.cosmicsoft.net hosting service, where students can take it from any internet-connected computer. If you'd rather give the quiz in your classroom, print it out on paper.

What's new in this version:

- Now a Universal Binary for Mac OS X.
- Uploads to the quiz.cosmicsoft.net server are dramatically faster.
- Fixes a bug that caused newly teacher-graded scores to be deleted if grader notes were also specified.
- Sends email using BCC instead of CC, to prevent privacy violations.
- Fixes a bug causing students to be incorrectly recorded as "Taking quiz" in computer lab quizzes.
- Now crashes less in the import wizard.
- The graph pane now only shows completed students, and properly sorts the bars for the quiz summary and multiple choice questions.
- An optional "email" field was added for name-prompt quizzes.
- The results window shows an icon for students that have an email address specified, and allows you to send email to these students.
- Matching questions now print properly for extremely long matches.
- HTML quizzes no longer always randomize the choices for multiple select questions; instead, it is based on the "Randomize order of choices" setting in Quiz Options, as it should be.
- HTML quizzes no longer incorrectly display the unanswered-question warning for quizzes with multiple select questions.
- The default initial directories for save and open dialogs are now stored, to save time and make starQuiz easier to use.
- The Add Text Resource window in Quiz Options now supports Cut, Copy, and Paste.
