Compatbility Notes:

1. The VST USB Tri-Media Reader and associated software are designed to run on a Macintosh computer with USB support, and MacOS X.

IMPORTANT! This software adds support for the VST USB Tri-Media Reader under MacOS X. This support is for the CompactFlash and Smart Media drives only. Support for the floppy drive will be available in a future update of the MacOS X operating system.

2. Hotplugging USB devices, including the VST USB Tri-Media Reader, is not currently supported under MacOS X. Plugging or unplugging your USB device will the computer is running may cause a kernal panic. If this occurs, you must restart your computer.

3. Copying files to or from your flash media using the Finder is not currently supported under MacOS X. SmartDisk recommends you use the OS X application "Image Capture" to safely copy files to or from your flash media and your computer. Image Capture will launch automatically when you insert your media into the VST USB Tri-Media Reader. Alternatively, you can use the command line option is OS X to copy or delete files from your media. These issues will be corrected in a future update of the MacOS X operating system.
