About SmallScreenX
A Cocoa port of the old "Small Screen" for the pre-X Mac OS. The old version simply drew borders on your screen representing smaller resolutions - useful for web design to simulate how different viewers may see a page without the hassle of switching their own resolution. This version (by a different author) allows you to have multiple-moveable-resizeable screens open at a time (supports dual-monitors) along with other nifty features.
Whats New in this Version
- Dimmer mode: dim the area outside of SmallScreens.
- Restricted resizing: holding shift now constricts resizing (horizontal/vertical/aspect-ratio)
- Menubar simulation: simulate the menubar within a SmallScreen
- Border is now drawn outside of the "actual" border, enabling more accurate previewing
- Tooltips
- Opens System Preferences when Accessibility is not enabled . Follow the link and
