ScrobblePod is a Last.fm music scrobbler for Mac OS X which handles songs played both in iTunes and on your iPod. It is designed as a replacement for existing scrobblers, which are either too complicated or don't support iPod track scrobbling. ScrobblePod does not attempt to be an iTunes controller, because there are already programs out there that do a great job of that.
Why ScrobblePod?
When you listen to a track in iTunes, it is scrobbled to Last.fm immediately. However, if you have listened to a song on your iPod before listening to a song in iTunes the iPod song will not be accepted by Last.fm because it was played earlier than the iTunes track (which was scrobbled immediately).
ScrobblePod manages when tracks are scrobbled to Last.fm, allowing songs played both in iTunes and on your iPod to be scrobbled successfully.
Main Features
- Automatic iPod Scrobbling: Post your iPod plays as soon as you plug in
- iTunes Scrobbling: Scrobble your iTunes tracks as they happen or whenever you plug in your iPod
- Minimalist Interface: Doesn't get in your way (until you need it to)
