This application is a replacement for Lightwave's network render controller. It allows for dynamic adding and removing of nodes and scenes, and allows you to continue to work in Lightwave while your batch scenes are being rendered. It has error checking procedures to make sure your render completes successfully. It also allows for mixed platform rendering - controlling Mac (both PPC and Intel) and PC nodes. You can modify the output information and scene range when you load a scene, and it will check to make sure that the frames on disk are not newer than the scene file, allowing you to re-render a selection of frames by simply throwing them away prior to re-rendering. It outputs a log file so you can see what machine is rendering what, and this log file can be imported into a spreadsheet or other third party render log analysis tool. There are many more features, for a complete detailed list please visit our website. There are four levels of registration, the first level is free and allows the controller to control one node, which is perfect for batching scenes while you continue to work in Lightwave. Please see website for further pricing information.
