- load a video
- select you TV format (widescreen or not)
- select your video standard (NTSC in USA & Japan, PAL everywhere else)
- click on "Go", that's all.

Studio features:

- Create a DVD-Video with automatic menus, with thumbnails and captions (from an encoding or directly use your eyetv files).
- Demux your videos MPEG: extract audio, video and subtitles parts.
- Mux video parts (or add subtitles).
- Modify your video aspect without reencoding (eg: aspect of your Everio camcorder is not 16:9 DVD compliant, so change it).

Encoding features:

- Unlike other video apps, MovieConverter will automatically fix:Detection of anamorphous files (movies won't be deformed after encoding).
- Field order (broadcasting always display video images in the correct order).
- Number of frames per second (videos will be converted to your TV standard -PAL or NTSC- WITHOUT jerking).
- Ability to pause the video encoding.
- Ability to transform any video from 4:3Letterbox to 16:9 (no matter what its original size or its interlacing fields' order is).
- Are you sure of your settings? Preview the result or check the file before encoding.
- Batch mode

- Select a MPEG file (or a folder full of MPEG) and let all your settings in less than 3 minutes. MovieConverter will do for you automatically a DVD-Video with menus and thumbnails (and not too ugly :-))

- Management of disks formatted in "MS-DOS" and output DV (Leopard only)
