Locationchanger 1.0 free download

 
LocationChanger automatically reconfigures many programs and resources according to IP address, wireless network ID, or gateway MAC address. Currently locationchanger is capable of automatically modifying the following:

- NFS automounts
- Privoxy settings
- host file settings
- default printer
- Mail server and account
- iChat status and services
- Location setting in Network Preferences
- proxy status

Additionally, if growl is found, it notifies you of the new IP address, location name, and the hardware device of
the new connection.

added organization aids to locationinfo output
announce function checks if growl is currently running
announce looks for icon that is appropriate for location (e.g. Home)
announce function can handle either applications or icons and searches for a match
audible announcement when a new location is detected
parallelized script launching for big improvements in speed
fixed growl detection bug
moved proxy testing to the end to allow other scripts to run
