Use iSight Disabler to quickly turn on/turn off your built-in Intel Mac USB iSight. Someone brought my attention to the fact that any Quicktime component can gain access to the iSight on your Mac. This isn't so much worrying as it is annoying, even more-so with the Intel Macs that don't have any kind of iSight shroud. I want the ability to turn it on and off via software if I can't turn it off via "hardware". I've got the solution and created an AppleScript to automate it. This is why I wrote the iSight Disabler.
Supports only two more...functions: "Enabling" and "Disabling" an Intel Mac USB iSight via the Quicktime USB driver component. Example:
username ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /bin/chmod
