Iplayer downloader 2.0 free download

 
iPlayer Downloader allows users of the BBC's iPlayer service to download videos using their Mac. This program is NOT associated with the BBC in any way whatsoever, and if it's usage breaks any of the BBC's Terms of Service, it is the user's responsibility to ensure their compliance with the applicable laws etc. To use iPlayer Downloader, simply go the the BBC's iPlayer website in your favourite web-browser (www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer), then select the program you wish to download, and click its link. Once the page has loaded with the non-downloadable flash version showing, copy the URL from your browser's address bar into the URL box in iPlayer Downloader, and download the file!

What's new in this version:

New in 2.0: It works again! Seems simple but the old version had stopped working, took a bit of work to get it going again. Now dne in collaboration with Lawrence Dudley who's kindly hosting the project site and downloads for us, as well as taking care of the web side of things. Also new are Growl updates, telling you when the file you're downloading is done, as well as an auto-update service meaning you don't have to check for updates yourself on a website!! .
