Allows you to access and manage your Microsoft Exchange calendar seamlessly from Apple iCal. Synchronize your events and tasks, book people or resources for meetings, respond to meeting requests, view Free/Busy time and much, much more. All with no need to install additional software on your Exchange server.
What's new in this version:
- added capturing files attached to Exchange items (1-way sync, only): Any item that has a file attachment in Exchange will show a URL in iCal's information panel. That URL will open a folder containing the file attachment(s).
Newer/different versions of attachments will not overwrite existing versions(s) captured on the Mac and attachments will not be deleted on the Mac when the calendar item is deleted in iCal.
Note: Files are not sync'd back to Exchange and, as has been true for all versions of Groupcal, if a sync'd item has a file attachment in Exchange and that item is changed iCal then sync'd back to Exchange, the item will be sent back to Exchange without the file attachment(s) and the file attachment(s) in Exchange will disappear.
-
- improved the behavior of the invitation panel to make it less intrusive
-
- added a warning to turn off iCal syncing in Entourage if it's installed
-
- added some detection and instructions that will help when a server's login setup has been changed
-
- fixed a bug where, in certain cases, the organizer/invite status of an event could be lost when syncing from iCal to Exchange
-
- changed syncing to create start/stop dates the way OWA/Outlook GUIs behave because Exchange and ActiveSync get confused when there's a start date but no due date (which is normal for iCal) . Follow the link and
