GPS2Aperture Lite is a free and easy to use geotagging application for use with Apple's Aperture and Google Earth.
- Visually geotag your images with the help of Google Earth.
- Copy GPS positions from one image to another.
- View individual image locations in Google Earth.
- Go into 'constant update' mode and watch Google Earth automatically fly from location to location as you navigate from image to image in Aperture.
What's new in this version:
Version 1.0.15:
New Features:
- Tested and updated to work with Aperture 2.1.1.
- Automatic backup of Masters before geotagging.
Changed Features:
- If the altitude is empty or unknown, only the latitude and longitude are used.
- GPS2Aperture is now limited to tagging Referenced Masters. This is due to the backup system and to work around a bug in Aperture where Versions exported from Managed Masters sometimes do not contain GPS data.
Bugfixes:
- Improved reliability of the Next and Previous buttons.
- Improved reliability of floating mode.
- System Preferences was launching in the background in certain circumstances.
- Improved behaviour of automatic checking for updates in new installs.
