G4FanControl is a small utility that can be used to specify a certain minimum temperature limit that much be reached before the fans on a PowerBook G4 laptop start up (note: Apple sets the default temperature limit to 60° on these units). Default temperature limits will be restored by Mac OS X in the event of a reboot.
