Fetch Art will allow you to automatically download album art for your music in iTunes. It uses album art from Amazon.com, and the ID3 tags in your MP3 files to determine the appropriate CD cover to download. If your ID3 tags are incorrect or incomplete, you may not get any art for that song, and occasionally will actually get the wrong art as it was unable to correctly find the album on Amazon.
What's new in this version:
- This version fixes a Perl error on systems that did not have the Apple development tools installed. (The message looked like, "Can't locate LWP/Simple.PM...")
- Select All under the Edit menu now works. Also remember there is a Copy All Art to iTunes command under the Fetch Art menu.
- The problem with the installer not placing Fetch Art in the Applications directory, or creating a script menu in iTunes has been corrected.
- Note this version is NOT compatible with Intel Macs. To donate and help the development of an Intel Mac version, please visit my donations page www.aric.org/fetchart/donation.html . Follow the link and
