About EspressReport
A powerful toolkit for generating and publishing sophisticated reports & charts. It includes GUI components for report and query design, and a Java API for run-time customization and deployment. Written in Pure Java, EspressReport has been optimized to run on OS X, and can deploy completely within WebObjects. It can generate reports as HTML/DHTML, PDF, Excel, Rich text, CSV, XML, and text files.

EspressReport includes many powerful features that are unavailable to Mac users with other products. EspressReport supports built-in drill-down capability, and sub-reports. It can directly connect to JDBC-compliant data sources, or data can be drawn directly from Java objects, and XML files. Report formatting/design can be handled entirely within the Report Designer, and EspressReport includes a extensive internal function/scripting library. At minimum, it can deploy as only a set of API classes, and can run entirely within Web Objects, or other application/Web containers.

EspressReport includes one of the most extensive charting libraries available, and can plot data in one of over 30 different chart types. Charts can be drawn in true 3D with z-axis data, pan/zoom, rotation, and light source modification.
