Dave patch 4.0.2p1 free download

 

- Corrected a problem where the vi editor could not save a file.
- Corrected a problem where DAVE could not properly copy a file larger than 4 GB.
- Corrected a problem where share names containing Japanese characters would not mount.
- Corrected a problem where copying files from a server could report error -50 or error -36.
- Corrected a problem where DAVE may not display a list of machine names if the workgroup or domain contained 7000 or more machines.
- Corrected a problem where printing could cause cifs_printd to crash.
- Corrected a problem where inbound printing could cause the error "%s".

NOTES
- When browsing a large workgroup, the actual number of servers displayed is limited by the size of the message that can be sent. During testing, we would usually see a list of around 4,100 servers after applying the patch. Before the patch, no servers would have displayed.
- The cifs_prind would crash while sharing an unsupported printer and attempting to accept a print job. While the crash situation has been fixed, unsupported printers will not produce usable output.
