About BolinOS
The near-OSX GUI modular publication and communication platform for Internet / Web developed in order to enable simple management of complex multimedia portals. It uses standard open-source software: PHP, Apache, mySQL and was developped in order to offer a simple and efficient applicative platform that could take in account the quality and diversity of today’s multimedia, offering robustness and security for sensitive information management. It uses both Database AND file-system hierarchy for powerful online data-management.

It is implemented and co-developped for example by the medical informatics Department of th University Hospitals of Geneva ( ), ( - Swiss musical portal), Med-IA ( - medical multimedia portal), PaysRomand ( - French speaking Switzerland classifieds), EtudeDame ( - international multicentric scientific study), ... with a major actor that has permitted the start of everything: Wild ( ), first Swiss internet platform for the incubation of creators.
