About Alfred
A shortfall of Mac OS X has just gone. Alfred is an easy to use, customizable, universal plug-in manager. Inspired from Mac OS 9 s Finder and Extensions Manager, taking care of Mac OS X specificities, it improves user experience to install, remove and manage any kind of plug-ins like screen savers, preference panes, fonts… or anything else.
Main features include:
- Easy plug-in installation and removal.
- Dedicated user interface synthesizing installed plug-ins.
- File inspectors with preview.
- Generic engine using customizable rules.
- One-click plug-in installation using the contextual menu module from the Finder.
Whats New in this Version
- When installing several similar files at once, Alfred now remembers the destination settings of the first file and uses them for the next ones instead of asking for every file.
- It is now necessary to authenticate only once when repeatedly launching Alfred to perform some administration operations within a short period of time.
- Added support for copying files into the clipboard from the managers.
- Many more enhancements. Follow the link and
